1. Agreement to these terms
Fixa is operated by TELEOPSROBOTICS, LLC. at fixa.dev. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Fixa on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it, and "you" means that company.
2. What the service does
Fixa is an AI coding agent. You describe what you want in a chat interface, and the agent plans the work, writes and edits files, runs commands and tests in an isolated cloud workspace, serves a live preview, and can read from and write to a source repository you connect. The service is under active development and is currently offered in preview, which means features can change, be added, or be removed as we improve it.
3. Your account
You need an account to use Fixa, and you must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including anything the agent does at your direction. Tell us at support@fixa.dev if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.
4. Plans, usage, and billing
- Fixa offers a free plan and paid subscriptions. Current prices and allowances are on the pricing page.
- Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance measured against the real cost of the model calls and compute your work consumes. The app shows how much of your allowance you have used.
- When you reach 100% of your allowance, new agent requests are paused until your allowance resets at the start of the next billing period, or until you upgrade. Your projects and data are not affected.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Payment is processed by Stripe and you authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid access until then.
- Fees are charged in advance and are not refundable for partial periods, except where the law requires a refund or where we agree otherwise in writing. If something went wrong on our side, email us and we will make it right.
- We may change prices or plan allowances. If a change affects your existing subscription, we will give you notice before it applies to your next renewal.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
5. Acceptable use
Fixa hands out real compute with network access, so this section matters. You agree not to use the service to:
- Break the law, infringe someone else's intellectual property, or violate someone's privacy.
- Build, host, or distribute malware, ransomware, phishing pages, spam tooling, or credential stealers.
- Mine cryptocurrency, run distributed computation for its own sake, or otherwise use the sandbox as generic compute unrelated to building your project.
- Attack, scan, or overload systems you do not own or have permission to test, or launch denial of service traffic from our infrastructure.
- Attempt to escape the sandbox, reach other customers' workspaces or data, or circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or billing.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties as your own product, or use it to build a directly competing service.
- Generate content that sexually exploits minors, incites violence, or harasses a specific person.
- Upload personal data you do not have the right to process, including regulated health or financial records you are not permitted to share with processors.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. Serious abuse can be suspended immediately and without notice.
6. Your content and who owns what
You keep ownership of what you bring to Fixa and what you build with it. That includes your prompts, the repositories you connect, and the code the agent produces for you. As between you and us, the output is yours.
You grant us a limited, worldwide, non exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, display, and process that content only to operate and support the service, for example to store your project, run it in a sandbox, and send the necessary context to a model provider so the agent can answer. This license ends when you delete the content, apart from copies kept in routine backups for a short period.
You are responsible for having the rights to the content you bring, including any repository you import. Similar or identical output may be generated for other users, so we make no claim that output is unique to you.
We own Fixa itself: the platform, its interface, and everything we build to run it. Nothing here transfers that to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the product without obligation to you.
7. AI output comes with no warranty
The agent is a probabilistic system. It can be wrong, it can produce code with bugs or security flaws, it can misread your intent, and it can act on outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and securing anything you take from Fixa before you rely on it, ship it to users, or run it against production data or systems.
Do not give the agent credentials or access you would not be comfortable with an automated system using. Secrets you set for a project are available to the code running in that project's workspace.
8. Third party services
Fixa depends on services we do not control, including the model providers, the sandbox platform, our payment processor, and any integration you connect such as GitHub. Your use of those integrations is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for their availability, their pricing, or the decisions they make about their own services. Our Privacy Policy lists the providers we use.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, change or discontinue features, or impose limits to protect the platform. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Fixa at any time and cancel your subscription from the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if we are required to by law. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period. After termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable window, so export anything you want to keep.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TELEOPSROBOTICS, LLC. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the service, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold TELEOPSROBOTICS, LLC. harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of anyone else's rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and TELEOPSROBOTICS, LLC. agree to bring any dispute exclusively in the courts located in the State of California, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please email support@fixa.dev so we can try to resolve it directly.
15. General
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
- If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- Our not enforcing a provision at some point does not waive our right to enforce it later.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- We may update these terms. We will change the last updated date at the top, and we will give notice in the product or by email before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms go to support@fixa.dev, or write to TELEOPSROBOTICS, LLC., operator of Fixa.
These terms are written to describe how the service actually operates. They are not legal advice, and they have not been reviewed by counsel on your behalf.
